Social and cultural activities
Well-prepared social programmes for the 45th IAH Congress will be offered to encourage social and scientific communication among the participants from all over the world in the rich and comfortable cultural atmosphere of Korea. Special events for young scientists will provide opportunities for them to learn the latest technologies and will encourage networking and future collaboration. During the various social events, the participants will enjoy the diverse flavours of authentic Korean cuisine.
Congress participants and those who accompany them can visit the many attractions of the city, such as the Daejeon Museum of Art, the Daejeon Culture and Art Center, the Hanbat Arboretum, Yuseong Hot Springs and a barefoot walk in the forest. Additionally, Daejeon is able to offer practically everything that the participants could want during their stay in the city: mountains, temples, historical sites, beautiful landscapes, shopping, nightlife, and more. The Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise and Korea Tourism Organization promised strong support to provide a rich cultural experience for the participants. The City of Daejeon is looking forward to welcoming all the participants of the IAH Congress.
